RSS Feedreader

Hi everyone! In this section we will talk about RSS. Lately it has been used by a lot of people. Here some explanation and examples about it.
RSS is the best way to stay updated with your favorite content. In this article we’ll go through what softwares there are for following RSS feeds.  These softwares are called RSS feed readers and there’s a diverse set of options out there.
RSS stands for “really simple syndication,” or, depending on who you ask, “rich site summary.” At its heart, RSS is just simple text files with basic updated information — news pieces, articles, that sort of thing. That stripped-down content is usually plugged into what is called a “feed reader” or an interface that quickly converts the RSS text files into a stream of the latest updates from around the web.

If it needs to give more details...
  • Web-based Feed Readers: If you want to read all your feeds from within your browser, you want a Web-based feed reader (these are the most convenient and easy to set up).
  • Desktop Feed Readers: If you want to read all your feeds separate from your browser and have something actually installed onto your system, you want a desktop feed reader. These usually come with more powerful features than the Web-based feed readers, but are definitely for the more technologically advanced crowd.
  • Browser Built-In Feed Readers: There are some browsers out there on the market that come with baked-in feed readers.
  • Email-Based Feed Readers: If you would like all of your feeds delivered to you via email, you’re going to want to check out an email-based feed reader.
  • Mobile Feed Readers: More and more, people are getting their Web search content as they’re out and about through a variety of mobile devices. If you are one of these people, you might want to check out one of these feed readers/access services made especially for mobile devices. Twitter and flipboard can be an example.
As internet content became more complex, so did RSS files, which quickly adopted images, video, and more, but still in a stripped-down format for easier loading and compatibility across all feed readers. Readers usually automatically update, so that they deliver the newest content right to your device. Basically, this approach allows internet users to create their own online feeds filled with custom updates from the sites that they like to visit regularly.

How Do I Set Up and Use an RSS FeedReader?

1) Choose your RSS feed reader: Here are a few recommend: RSS Feed Reader for ChromeFeed Notifier
2) Installing and setting up a browser extension/ application RSS feed reader
The installation processes for browser extensions and applications are very similar. In the case of browser extensions, you will need to add the extension to your browser before you can proceed to set up your RSS feed reader. In the case of applications, you will need to download an .exe file, install it on your computer, then follow the instructions to add your RSS feed link, set time intervals, and enable notifications.
